If you’re a Katy Perry fan and would love to live inside her (not so) humble abode, then here’s your chance to do so! The renowned singer is all set to sell her Beverly Hills mansion and it could be yours for a cool $19.5 million. Yes, that’s right!
Situated in the exclusive Hidden Valley neighborhood, the home sits amid “a forest of parkland” and measures about 5,500 square feet. It features a skylight-topped foyer, a step-down living room with a verdant view of the grounds, and a formal dining room that opens to an alfresco dining loggia.
The two-story estate was built in 1959 and comes with a sparkling infinity pool surrounded by eucalyptus on the 1.13-acre grounds, as well as a covered terrace and ample space for entertaining guests and parking space for over a dozen cars.
Other features include a chic kitchen with a huge T-shaped island, a quirky blue library, a gym, a sauna, and a cold plunge pool. It also has access to some of the most gorgeous hiking trails- which, needless to say, are all private!
As for the main bedroom suite – it features a fireplace, plus a marble bathroom, two closets, and a private garden terrace. There are three additional bedroom suites, with the option for a fourth also available to the new buyers.
While Perry purchased the home for $19 million herself, it was initially offered for $9.2 million in 2007. And given the pricey neighborhood (with the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Guy Oseary, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, and Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem living there), the price hike over ten years is more than justified!
