The project in question is Villa Weinberg located on the hill of Erlenbach, overlooking Lake Zurich. A
prime location for a top interior design, with the most eclectic and luxurious brands.

Entering the 600 m2 space, the combination of different materials and textures is completely balanced
and brings to the space a clean and relaxing vibe.

Examples of that are the piece of Asian art above the fireplace and the amazing Eden Center Table by Boca do Lobo.

Eden Patina Center Table by Boca do Lobo

The mystic behind the name inspires Eden. This center table represents a part of the tree of knowledge and the tale of the birth of desire.

Boca do Lobo uses the highest quality materials and textures, giving them shapes through objects that create a cosmopolitan luxury environment, finding the finest example in this table. 

Fully made of polished casted brass, with a delicately engraved top exposing the heart of a golden tree to the very heart of a home.

Tom Dixon

To celebrate Tom Dixon’s 20th anniversary, the British design brand will host ‘TWENTY’, an unprecedented exhibition in Milan to coincide with Salone del Mobile. From the 7th – the 12th of June, new and iconic collections will be shown for the first time in not just one but two locations: Palazzo Serbelloni and The Manzoni, the brand’s hub in Milan.

The new Melt Dichroic Filter Chandelier will launch in Milan as part of the TWENTY exhibitions.

TWENTY At Palazzo Serbelloni

TWENTY, an exhibition celebrating 20 years of design and innovation will be hosted at Palazzo Serbelloni, a neoclassical palace where Sotheby’s – the world’s largest marketplace for art and luxury – has its Milan galleries and offices. The event will focus on innovation and materiality with 20 unseen creations on display.

Visitors will be invited to explore a thoughtfully curated selection of designs: some inspired by Tom Dixon’s most recognized collections such as MIRROR BALL, MELT, and FAT, some upgraded, and some in embryonic experiment-mode, providing a reflective yet future-thinking overview of Tom’s prolific portfolio and journey to becoming one of Britain’s most celebrated designers.

‘You will find us tucked away in a historic palazzo in the center of Milan where the British auction institution Sotheby’s has its Italian headquarters. There could not have been a better platform to show TWENTY objects that explain some of the history, some of the processes of manufacture but also some of the new developments that describe the future of the brand. All of this coincides with Sotheby’s first Italian design sale, where the central position of Milan as the global capital for creativity is reaffirmed.’

The Manzoni

While Palazzo Serbelloni will host the TWENTY exhibitions, The Manzoni (the brand’s hub in Milan since 2019) will be used as a ‘business center’ by the Tom Dixon International Sales Teams. The whole range of Tom Dixon’s best-sellers will be on display for new and existing customers to see.

Molteni

The Aldo Rossi Exhibition Design 1960-1997 at the Museo Del Novecento included the Molteni Group as a major sponsor will happen between 29 April – 02 October 2022. 350 artefacts, including furnishings, sketches, paintings, and models, are on display in an unusual exhibition that explores and reconstructs one of the twentieth century’s masters of architecture’s extremely imaginative world of design. The Molteni&C|UniFor pieces on show are from the permanent collection of the Molteni Museum.

 RoGUILTLESSPLASTIC 2022

RoGUILTLESSPLASTIC, an international project developed and directed by Rossana Orlandi and Nicoletta Orlandi Brugnoni, aims to involve the Designer and Creative Communities in investigating the unlimited possibilities of transformation for Plastic Waste and other types of Waste.

The Ro Plastic Prize is RoGUILTLESSPLASTIC’s international award, and it aims to engage a wider audience by challenging global communities of designers, innovators, entrepreneurs, startuppers, changemakers, creators, scientists, researchers, developers, and communication experts who are passionate about making an extraordinary impact by proposing re-Waste-related projects.
