Dior Unveils L’Or De J’adore, The New Dior Fragrance By Francis Kurkdjian
Video

DIOR UNVEILS L’OR DE J’ADORE, THE NEW DIOR FRAGRANCE BY FRANCIS KURKDJIAN

Francis Kurkdjian, Perfume Creation Director of Parfums Dior since 2021, has crafted a new fragrance, L’Or de J’adore.

This renewal was informed by both audacity and humility, guided by the words of Christian Dior himself: “Respect tradition and dare to be bold.”

L’Or de J’adore establishes the singular style of Francis Kurkdjian at Dior. The perfumer has given the original floral signature more streamlined and contemporary accents, choosing to go to the very heart of J’adore’s floral bouquet, the essence of its incredibly complex formula.

He imbued it with a radical and minimalist position, while at the same time amplifying the notes of orange blossom, jasmine grandiflorum and centifolia rose absolutes. Revealed in full-scale in a floral quintessence both powerful and carnal, these blossoms are the precious gold of J’adore.

The new Or de J’adore amphora is conceived as a precious bottle, acquired to ensure that it is always close at hand. Designed to last, the lid, embellished with noble materials, becomes a talisman kept over time to welcome new “perfume droplets”.

Hennessy Opens Mobilis Virtual Reality Experience To Celebrate European Heritage Days

HENNESSY OPENS MOBILIS VIRTUAL REALITY EXPERIENCE TO CELEBRATE EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS

To celebrate the 40th edition of European Heritage Days, Hennessy invites the public to discover Mobilis, an immersive virtual reality experience that showcases the Maison’s unique savoir-faire and heritage.

The installation in Cognac is inspired by Richard Hennessy’s sketches, including the boats he imagined would one day export his cognacs around the world. For the Heritage Days, French designers Olivier Kuntzel and Florence Deygas have created a multisensorial experience where craftsmanship and high technology seamlessly merge. Visitors are embarked on a dreamlike voyage thanks to cutting-edge virtual reality innovations with awe-inspiring special effects – wind and vibrations – and latest generation VR headsets.

The itinerary follows sketches done by Richard Hennessy to immerse visitors in the cognac Maison, including the different crafts that go into making its renowned spirits, from grapegrowing and distillation to assemblage, cooperage and calligraphy.

“At Hennessy we are very passionate about preserving, enriching, and passing on our heritage. What I find particularly fascinating with Mobilis is the way Olivier Kuntzel and Florence Deygas approached the notion of legacy – blending history with poetic license,” says Laurent Boillot, President and CEO of Hennessy.

Free guided tours on Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17, from 12pm to 7pm. Reservations on www.hennessy.com
