A pristine 2003 Ferrari Enzo is being offered by RM Sotheby’s with no reserve, giving car collectors a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own one of the rarest examples of Ferrari’s revered halo car. What you’re looking at is one of the nine Enzo hypercars finished in the ultra-rare Argento Nürburgring 101/C. To make it even more exclusive, this particular Enzo is the only known example to feature a tan “Cuoio” interior. If that was not all, it’s in brand new condition with only 141 miles on the odometer and its protective wrapping still in place. The fact that something like this exists is truly mindboggling. Out of the 400 Ferrari Enzos that were built in the early 2000s, this one is probably one of the finest and most desirable examples to own for a car collector.
According to the official description by the auction house, the low-mileage wonder (chassis number 132662) was delivered new to Japan in 2003 and has “remained largely out of sight for much of its life.” In fact, the Enzo was registered for use on the road. As a result, it only has 141 miles on the clock with almost all of them coming from factory testing prior to delivery. The striking example is more of a time capsule with much of its factory protective packaging still intact, including plastic on the door sills, tape wrapped around the ignition key, and even plastic covering on the brake and gas pedals. It’s almost as if the hypercar freshly rolled off the factory floor in Maranello.
The pristine example also comes with its original owner’s manuals, car cover, and spare key, all enclosed in a Ziploc bag, along with the original three-piece luggage set which has never been unwrapped. While the pre-auction estimate is only available upon request, we expect the ultra-rare hypercar to fetch close to $5 million. Interestingly, this is the third Ferrari Enzo to be offered for sale by RM Sotheby’s over the last few months. Back in December, the only Ferrari Enzo delivered new from Maranello finished in Matte Black was sold by the auction house for an undisclosed amount.
