Louis Vuitton Presents 2026 Australian Open Trophies In The Maison’s Iconic Trunks

LOUIS VUITTON PRESENTS 2026 AUSTRALIAN OPEN TROPHIES IN THE MAISON’S ICONIC TRUNKS

Louis Vuitton once again celebrated sporting excellence at the women’s and men’s finals of the 2026 Australian Open tennis tournament, presenting the coveted trophies in its bespoke trunks.

Handcrafted by expert Louis Vuitton artisans at the Maison’s historic Asnières workshops, the trophy trunks carried and protected the Daphne Akhurst Memorial Cup and the Norman Brookes Memorial Cup throughout the Grand Slam event. Covered in emblematic Louis Vuitton Monogram canvas and fitted with brass locks, corners and clasps identical to those used by Louis Vuitton since the 1860s, the trunks – adorned with an immaculate white “V” for Victory and Vuitton – fold open to reveal the trophies. The interior is lined with microfiber in the Australian Open blue color, and the inside of the cover features the AO logo in white lettering.

Following the women’s final, which saw Elena Rybakina triumph over Ayina Sabalenka, the Daphne Akhurst Memorial Cup was presented in its Louis Vuitton trunk by House Ambassador Bambam and tennis legend Jennifer Capriati. After the men’s final, won by Carlos Alcaraz against Novak Djokovic, the Norman Brookes Memorial Cup was presented in its iconic trunk by House Ambassador Chloë Grace Moretz and tennis legend Marat Safin.

In these emotion-packed moments, Louis Vuitton carries on a long tradition of designing exceptional trunks to protect and showcase the trophies of the world’s most prestigious sporting events. Throughout this proud history, the Maison has never wavered from its conviction that Victory travels in Louis Vuitton.
